Everything you need to know when booking a tattoo
We highly recommend booking a consultation with us so we can get a feel for how you want your tattoo to look. We will also discuss size and placement so bring reference photos with you!

Once you've decided on what you want, we will take a deposit to secure your appointment*.
For full coverage tattoos such as sleeves and back pieces will require a 10% down payment of the overall cost of the tattoo, which will be determined by the artist during the consultation.
The deposit will be deducted from your total at the end of the FINAL appointment.
* If you reschedule more than 2 times or did not show to your booked appointment, your deposit will be FORFEITED.
Anyone under the age of 19 will require a signed consent form in person by the parent/guardian. We will NOT tattoo anyone under the age of 16.
You MUST inform our artists if you have any transmittable diseases so proper precautions can be taken prior to your tattoo. You can rest assured any information given to ONYX Tattoo Studio and Staff will be kept confidential.
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE so please make sure you are 100% committed before booking. Taking a deposit ensures the security between the client's and the artist's time.
Your custom design will be sent to you via email or text 72 hours prior to your appointment. Please note, MINOR changes** to the design can ONLY be made within 48 hours of your appointment.
**Complete design change will be subject to a secondary deposit and rescheduling of the appointment.
We ONLY accept rescheduling of appointments within 48 HOURS notice. Appointments can ONLY be rescheduled TWICE, otherwise you forfeit your deposit.
If no notice is given and your booked appointment is missed, your deposit will be forfeited. Another deposit will be required before any other appointments are made.
Please understand that NOT all tattoos can be covered up. Therefore, it is IMPORTANT to book a consultation so our artists can determine if it can be done. If your previous tattoo is too dark or too big, our artists may request for you to have the area lightened/faded by a laser technician.
